What is Project Christmas?
Started in 2018 by a passionate local couple to help just one family, Project Christmas has now brightened the lives of over 205 families! This incredible community-driven initiative is all about spreading joy and support during the holiday season. It focuses on delivering gifts and essential resources to deserving families in need, making sure everyone can bask in the warmth and spirit of Christmas. Thanks to generous donations and dedicated volunteers, Project Christmas brings together individuals and organizations to create a truly positive impact in our local communities!

2025 FAMILY NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
Each year, Project Christmas supports local families across Windsor-Essex who are facing challenges and could use a little extra help during the holiday season.
If you know a family in need, please complete the nomination form below in full so we can better understand their story and current needs. Every detail helps us make the most meaningful impact possible. All information shared will remain private and confidential. Families selected will be contacted directly.
DETROIT LIONS
THANKSGIVING TICKET DRAW
We’re thrilled to announce the return of our Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Ticket Draw! One lucky winner will score two tickets to the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day game at Ford Field, one of the most iconic matchups of the season.
Tickets are a donation of $10 each or 10 for $50, and every single dollar raised goes directly to supporting families through Project Christmas. The winner will be drawn on November 15th, 2025.

Make a difference this Christmas by adopting a local family in need.
Each year, Project Christmas shares a Family Catalog that includes anonymous stories and wish lists from families across Windsor-Essex. Upon completing this form, you’ll receive the 2025 Family Catalog and can choose your family in one of two ways:

Adopt & Shop: You’ll receive your family’s wish list and shop for their gifts directly.

We Shop for You: Send a donation, and our volunteer team will handle the shopping on your behalf.
All individuals, families, and businesses who adopt will be recognized on our social media as part of our Project Christmas Family for helping spread joy and kindness this season. ❤️

CHRISTMAS IN JULY - NINE & DINE
Our very first Christmas in July Nine & Dine was an incredible success! Together with our golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, we raised $6,651 to support families in Windsor-Essex this holiday season.
The night was filled with laughter, great food, live music, and plenty of Christmas spirit in the middle of summer. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who came out, donated, or volunteered—you truly made magic happen. ❤️
We’re so excited to announce this will now be an annual event, and we can’t wait to see you next year!
